By Travis Ignatius Xavier

Many people enjoy traveling. There are some whose only reason for working is to save up enough money to travel. They go from job to job and spend their free time traveling around the country. Many people enjoy these types of trips. Traveling within your own country is easy, convenient, and relatively safe. However, if you really want to have a good experience, consider traveling abroad.

Naturally, there are plenty of places you can choose from when making a decision to travel abroad. If you want to play it safe, you can go to England or Australia, where they speak English, and everything is pretty much the way it is back home. However, if you really want to expand your horizons and your comfort zone, consider taking a trip where you'll have to get by with a foreign language. For those of you that are adventurous enough, Tokyo is just the place.

First of all, Tokyo is a world class city. You can expect first rate hotels and restaurants. You will treated like royalty, as the hospitality industry in Japan prides itself on it's world class customer service. All your needs with be met, and you won't want for anything.

Public transportation is another reason to visit Tokyo. Certainly, you are going to need to get around the city. If you need a taxi, they are plentiful, affordable, clean, and the drivers are incredibly polite. If you need to take the subway, the trains are always on time, and are clean, safe and well lit. This is a public transportation system like none other in the world.

If you enjoy temples, then Tokyo is the place for you. While Kyoto is certainly famous for its temples, there are plenty to choose from in Tokyo. And they are all over the place, so no matter where you are, you can pop in for a quick bit of inner contemplation on the mysteries of the universe.

Of course, everybody should check out a Sumo match while in Japan. This tradition goes back hundreds of years, and is a combination of sport and religious rite. The players are held in high regard, and when you witness a live match, you will see what I'm talking about.

So you see, Tokyo is a place that everybody should visit. All you've got to do now is pack your bags, and make your travel arrangements.
